Japan beats Zambia 5-0 in Women's World Cup NHK

Japan's soccer team made an impressive debut at the Women's World Cup by overwhelming Zambia 5-0 in its first match.

The match got off to a good start for Japan, with Miyazawa Hinata getting an opener 43 minutes in.
Then, Tanaka Mina scored at the 55th minute.

Seven minutes later, Miyazawa scored again by slotting home a cross from Tanaka.

Japan added two more goals, while Zambia failed to get even a single shot.

Japan's team is dubbed "Nadeshiko." It hopes to earn its second title this year. It would be the squad's first since 2011.
Midfielder, and the scorer of two goals, Miyazawa Hinata said, " We want to be the champions. I'll play to the best of my abilities and will stay on the offensive."
Japan will face Costa Rica on Wednesday.
