We are only two games into the MLB season, and fans are already calling out the league for rigging something for Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers.

Ohtani belted his first home run of the season Wednesday in Tokyo, but it came with some controversy.

Ohtani, who had 54 home runs during the 2024 season, crushed a ball to right center in the fifth inning of the Dodgers-Cubs game in Japan.

It appeared as if it hit off the top of the wall and would be a double, but then umpires quickly motioned that it was a home run. Just to make sure, they reviewed the play, and you could see a fan getting a hand on the ball.

It should’ve been fan interference. But it was indeed ruled a home run.

Fans couldn’t believe that the umps made that call and promptly called out the league for rigging the game for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Shohei Ohtani.
