In Major League Baseball, a strained right oblique muscle has put an end to Japanese two-way star Ohtani Shohei's season. The Los Angeles Angels announced on Saturday that Ohtani was placed on the 10-day injury list, and that he will miss the remaining 14 games. He leads the American League in homers and ranks 4th in both the batting average and RBIs. Ohtani pitched 23 games, earning a 10-5 record with a 3.14 earned-run average in 132 innings.
