Investigative sources say actor Hirosue Ryoko and a nurse she allegedly injured are arranging an out-of-court settlement over an incident at a hospital following a car accident.



The actor was arrested last Tuesday on suspicion of hurting the nurse by kicking her multiple times.



Hirosue had been taken to the hospital after rear-ending a vehicle on an expressway in central Japan.



Last Thursday, a court approved a 10-day detention through April 19 to allow prosecutors to investigate the incident at the hospital.



Investigative sources say it has not been confirmed that Hirosue was under the influence of alcohol. They said investigations also did not detect drugs that could affect driving, such as sleeping pills.



Investigative sources say both sides have been in talks toward an out-of-court settlement.



Prosecutors are expected to decide whether to release Hirosue if the settlement is reached.
