Residents of the Gaza Strip are struggling to recover from Tuesday&#039;s airstrikes by Israeli forces.
        
                    
                  
Footage taken by NHK&#039;s Gaza office in the southern city of Khan Younis shows that many tents housing evacuees had been burned. The residents were seen trying to retrieve household items that could still be used.
        
                    
                  
A man who was near the bombed tents said his son had been injured by shrapnel. He added that his nephew was in the intensive care unit and some of his neighbors had died in the attack.
        
                    
                  
Another man said he was surprised that Israel had violated the ceasefire agreement. He said the airstrikes were very intense, and &quot;the area felt like hell.&quot;
        
                    
                  
Israel&#039;s military has issued additional evacuation orders to some Gaza residents in areas near the Israeli border. People fled their homes, carrying belongings, some in cars and donkey-driven wagons.
