Mexican authorities say two subway trains collided in the capital Mexico City on Saturday, leaving at least one person dead and 57 others injured. The cause of the crash has not been specified. In May 2021, an elevated section of the subway system in the city collapsed, sending a train car plunging onto a busy street below. The accident killed more than 20 people.
