At least 19 people were killed and about 160 others injured when a Bangladesh Air Force training plane crashed into a college campus in Dhaka.



The crash occurred on Monday afternoon at the Milestone School and College in the capital.



Officials say the aircraft rammed into a building on the campus.



Bangladesh's military says the 19 people killed included the crew of the training aircraft and college students.



A teacher who was injured in the accident told a local newspaper that flames erupted as students were about to leave school after the final bell rang.



The country's interim government said it is committed to getting to the bottom of what happened and making all-out efforts to provide support to those affected.
