Russia is focusing part of its attacks in Ukraine on the country&#039;s power and food supplies.
                
Russian forces are continuing their missile attacks on energy-related facilities in Ukraine. Parts of the capital Kyiv were again without electricity or water on Monday.
                
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko posted on social media that a facility to supply electricity to 350,000 households was attacked and that every effort is being made for restoration.
                
The Ukrainian military said damage to key infrastructure facilities was also reported in the eastern region of Kharkiv, the southern region of Zaporizhzhia, and some western and central parts of the country.
                
Russia has repeatedly used cruise missiles and drones to attack power plants and other energy-related targets since mid-October. They caused blackouts across Ukraine. Concerns are growing about the impact of such attacks on people&#039;s lives in the coming winter.
                
Russia also unilaterally announced that it had indefinitely suspended its participation in a deal that facilitated agricultural exports from Ukraine.
                
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday that the Russian move has prevented 218 vessels from entering or leaving his country&#039;s ports. He said, &quot;Russia is the only one to blame for the fact that food will now become more expensive for people across a vast expanse from West Africa to East Asia.&quot;
