Heavy bombardment in the Gaza Strip continued on Saturday, the second day since Israel resumed its military operations against Hamas. Gaza health authorities say a total of 200 people have died, and 589 have been injured over two days.
                
Israel&#039;s military says it has struck more than 400 targets since operations resumed on Friday.
                
It says fighter jets hit more than 50 targets in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
                
Images from the city show heavily damaged apartment buildings and wounded people being taken to hospital.
                
Residents in areas targeted for attack were notified by Israel to move to another location indicated on a map, which shows the enclave divided into small zones.
                
Leaflets were dropped on eastern Khan Younis telling people to move south to Rafah. But many have already evacuated from northern Gaza, and Rafah itself has come under attack.

Deliveries of aid to Gaza had stalled since the fighting resumed. But the Palestine Red Crescent Society said on Saturday that 100 trucks carrying food, water, medicine and other supplies had passed into Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
