US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has indicated the possibility of President Donald Trump ending his efforts to broker a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, &quot;If it&#039;s not possible.&quot;
        
                    
                  
Rubio was talking to reporters on Friday after wrapping up talks on Thursday with French President Emmanuel Macron and senior officials from Ukraine.
        
                    
                  
The US top diplomat said, &quot;We are now reaching a point where we need to decide and determine whether this is even possible or not.&quot; He said if it&#039;s not possible to end the war in Ukraine, President Donald Trump will probably say at a certain point, &quot;Well, we&#039;re done.&quot;
Rubio said: &quot;We are not going to continue with this endeavor for weeks and months on end. So we need to determine very quickly now, and I&#039;m talking about a matter of days.&quot;
The top US diplomat apparently hinted at the possibility of ending mediation efforts unless swift progress is made in ceasefire talks with Russia and Ukraine.
