China says it will impose a temporary ban on the navigation of vessels in designated waters north of Taiwan, due to the possibility of falling rocket debris. China's Maritime Safety Administration announced on Thursday that shipping will be banned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Japan time. It has not disclosed details, such as the time and purpose of the rocket launch as well as the size of the debris. Meanwhile, China has notified Japan and Taiwan that it will impose a no-fly zone in airspace north of Taiwan on Sunday, saying it will conduct aerospace activities in the area.
