Visitors to a park in a mountainous area of Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo, have a chance to view both red maple trees&#039; fall foliage and the light pink flowers of winter-blooming cherry trees at the same time.
                
The park in Kamikawa Town is home to 600 cherry trees that bloom twice a year - once in autumn and once in spring.
                
The leaves of the maple trees in the park started to turn red this month, allowing visitors to view their sharp contrast with the light pink color of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
                
Visitors can stroll around the park and take pictures from an observation deck.
                
A 4th-grade girl from Tokyo said she was surprised to see cherry blossoms in the winter.
                
A woman in her 30&#039;s who lives in Saitama said she is glad to see gorgeous red maple leaves and winter cherry blossoms at the same time.
                
Fall foliage and winter cherry blossoms can be seen together till the end of the month.
