A: Yeah! This media person, Atsushi Tamura, tweeted about how uncomfortable he feels when a woman cleans the men's restroom.

B: Really? Wow. I mean, it's pretty common, right? Lots of women work as janitors.

A: Totally! Clean System says like, 70% of janitors in Japan are women. It’s often because not many men apply for those jobs.

B: I guess so. But a lot of people agreed with him online! They said they feel awkward too.

A: A survey showed that almost three-quarters of men feel *some* discomfort. Not everyone is completely against it, but still…

B: That's interesting. I wonder how the female janitors feel about it. Cleaning a men’s restroom must be a little weird!

A: The survey asked that too! Apparently, almost 44% of women are against having a male janitor in the women's restroom. That's a bigger number than the men's restroom discomfort!

B: Huh. I guess people just don’t like having the opposite gender around when they're… you know.
