Snow may pile up in Japan's Kanto-Koshin region NHK

As much as 3 centimeters could fall on the southern Kanto plains, including central Tokyo. Northern Kanto is forecast to have 2 centimeters in both mountainous and level areas.

Weather officials are calling on people to watch out for traffic disruptions that may be caused by snow accumulation and icy roads. They are also asking people to be aware of the risk of power outages as snow falls on power lines.
