NFL Quarterback's 'Deer In Headlights' Costume Is Going Viral

Some NFL players still like to dress up and have fun on Halloween.

Atlanta Falcons backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke is one of them. The 30-year-old journeyman's costume choice has been going viral on Tuesday.

Heinicke shared his "deer in the headlights" costume on his Instagram story, where it was screenshotted and disseminated on X/Twitter. Heinicke is the deer, while the headlights are strategically placed on the chest of his blonde female companion.


Heinicke and his cohort are not the only couple to go with the "deer in the headlights" look this Halloween, but they might be the most famous people to do it.

This has been a big couple of days for Heinicke. Prior to going viral for his Halloween outfit, he made his 2023 debut in relief of Desmond Ridder in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Heinicke, who started 24 games for the Washington Commanders in 2021-22, completed 12-of-21 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown in the 28-23 defeat.

Right now, Ridder remains the Falcons' starter, but it will be interesting to see if that changes should he continue to struggle.
