A: Hey there! Guess what? Something amazing is happening right now!
   B: What's up? I don't know...

A: They're having this centuries-old festival in Toyama, near the Sea of Japan! It's called Shinminato Hikiyama Festival.
   B: Oh, really? That sounds cool! When is it?

A: It's happening today and tomorrow, October 1st and 2nd, in Imizu City. These floats they have are so fancy, they're like 8 meters tall!
   B: Wow, that must be quite a sight! Who's participating?

A: Thirteen communities from Shinminato district are taking part. Even the one hit by the earthquake last year, Furushinmachi, joined in! Can you believe it? They suffered damage but still managed to participate.
   B: That's incredible! I hope they find some peace and revitalization after such a tough time.

A: Absolutely! And lots of people came out to see the floats, even with the rain. It must have been beautiful!
   B: Yeah, I bet it was. If only we could go check it out... next year maybe?

A: Exactly! Can't wait for more fun stuff like this in Japan!
