Russia's state media said Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov criticized sanctions imposed by the western nations on his country, and insisted barriers are needed against illegal sanctions which infringe on free trade.
Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang reportedly said international issues should be decided through discussions and that different camps should not counter each other.
Several bilateral meetings took place on the sidelines. The Chinese foreign ministry said Qin and Lavrov met and vowed to strengthen cooperation. But nothing was released about any talk of Ukraine's situation. Blinken met his counterparts from India and the Netherlands, but it is unknown if he met with either Qin or Lavrov.
