Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed for more international assistance, saying the speed of ending the war against Russia directly depends on global support for Ukraine.

Zelenskyy released a video address after meeting South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol in Kyiv on Saturday. The Ukrainian president said he has met with many national leaders and corporate executives since the beginning of this month.

In a joint news conference after their talks, Zelenskyy thanked Yoon for visiting Ukraine. Yoon said it is important to ensure Ukraine's security and victory in the war. He revealed that South Korea has launched an initiative to help Ukraine in the military and humanitarian spheres and with post-war reconstruction.
