Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked the US for its support following a heated exchange with US President Donald Trump at the White House.
Zelenskyy posted on social media on Saturday: "I'm thankful to President Trump, Congress for their bipartisan support, and American people. Ukrainians have always appreciated this support."
Recalling the heated exchange with Trump, Zelenskyy wrote, "Despite the tough dialogue, we remain strategic partners." He added, "It's crucial for us to have President Trump's support."
