The defense team for South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol says he will attend the hearing of his impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday.
The court is set to decide whether to uphold Yoon's impeachment after the National Assembly passed a motion on it in December.
The team told reporters on Monday that Yoon will attend the third hearing.
Yoon was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of orchestrating an insurrection.
A joint team of investigators on Monday dispatched personnel to bring Yoon to their office for questioning but gave up after he refused. Officials say they will try to do so again.
