   B: Not much, Kenji. What's up?

A: So, you know Amazon, right? They might be making some big changes.
   B: Really? What kind of changes are we talking about?

A: Turns out they could be cutting around 30,000 jobs! That's the biggest reduction since 2023.
   B: Whoa, that's a lot! Are these from different departments or just one?

A: Different sectors are affected, like human resources, devices, services, operations... you name it.
   B: Sounds serious. I hope those who lose their jobs can find something new quickly.

A: Exactly! It's a bummer, but Amazon hasn't had this many cuts since late 2022 when they let go of 27,000 people.
   B: That's rough. Seems like technology is playing a part here. Anything specific?

A: Yeah! Apparently, as they adopt more AI agents, there will be fewer corporate jobs needed. Sounds like the boss, Andy Jassy, made some statements about it.
   B: Wow, looks like AI might be taking over more roles than we thought. Hope it's for the best!
