Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has spoken to NHK about his country's decision to deport four criminal suspects to Japan.
The Japanese men are accused of orchestrating a string of robberies from an immigration facility in Metro Manila.
Marcos spoke during an exclusive interview on Friday in Tokyo.
He said Philippine authorities had no objection to the Japanese government's request to return the men, and sought to avoid a long process.
