A: It’s been burning for five days! It started last Thursday.
B: Seriously? Where?

A: Mt. Ougiyama, near Uenohara and Otsuki. It's west of Tokyo.
B: Wow, that’s close! Is it bad?

A: Pretty bad. They say it’s burned over 114 hectares of forest already!
B: That's a lot of trees!

A: Yeah! They’re using helicopters and firefighters on the ground.
B: That sounds intense!

A: It got close to houses, like, only 30 meters away!
B: Oh no! I hope everyone is okay.

A: They say it’s unlikely to reach homes though.
B: That’s good to hear!

A: But now they found another fire in the same area!
B: What?! How is that even possible?

A: I know, right? And no rain is expected for a week.
B: So it’s going to keep burning then?

A: Looks like it. They’ll be fighting it again tomorrow morning.
B: That’s tough. At least no one is hurt and no houses are damaged yet.

A: Exactly! They evacuated about 145 people, though.
B: Hopefully, they can get it under control soon!
