A: Hey there, have you heard about Theo Baker?

B: Nah, who's that?

A: Dude, he's a senior at Stanford and he's all about old-school journalism! People thought it was dying but he's making it huge. Remember when he exposed the Stanford president for misconduct last year?

B: Oh yeah, I remember that! He was just one month in college and already causing trouble.

A: Exactly! Then he wrote a book about Silicon Valley's startup culture, and how they treat students like commodities. It comes out next month and it looks pretty explosive.

B: Wow, sounds intense. So what makes him different from others?

A: Well, his parents are top journalists and he chose to report instead of chasing venture capital funding like most of his peers. And guess what? He spent his sophomore year reporting and took a whole year off to write!

B: That's crazy! Journalism is struggling these days, but here's this young guy betting on accountability journalism. It could be a sign of things changing.

A: Yeah, I think it might. His book will definitely catch the attention of college students and cause some waves in Silicon Valley too. So exciting!
