Cambodia says it will bar US tech giant Meta's oversight board from the country, apparently in retaliation for its recommendation that Prime Minister Hun Sen's Facebook account be suspended. The government said on Tuesday that it will not allow 22 members of the board to enter or stay in the country. The board, made up of outside experts, monitors posts for compliance to standards on Meta's social media platforms, including Facebook. The experts said last month that Hun Sen incited violence in January by posting a video in which he threatened to send gangsters to the homes of his political opponents. Hun Sen has held the post of prime minister for nearly 40 years and continues to tighten his grip on power. The main opposition party has been banned from the general election to be held this month.
