US President-elect Donald Trump has stressed on the eve of his inauguration that he will introduce massive measures against undocumented immigrants on his first day in office.
Trump spoke to his supporters in Washington on Sunday, the day before his inauguration.
He said: "You are going to see executive orders that are going to make you extremely happy. By the time the sun sets tomorrow evening, the invasion of our borders will have come to a halt."
"The border security measures I will outline in my inaugural address tomorrow will be the most aggressive, sweeping effort to restore our borders the world has ever seen," he added.
Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on Monday.
He is expected to sign a record-setting number of executive orders soon after he takes the oath of office for his second term.
The inauguration ceremony has been shifted indoors for the first time in 40 years due to weather conditions that are forecast to be bitterly cold. The Capitol Rotunda, a round hall on Capitol Hill, will host the ceremony.
Trump also said he will visit California on Friday to survey the damage caused by the ongoing wildfires in parts of Los Angeles and nearby areas.
He said, "I also want to send our love to everyone affected by the terrible wildfires raging in California."
