Wednesday marks one week since a massive fire erupted at a high-rise residential complex in Hong Kong.
The blaze has so far left 159 people dead and about 30 others unaccounted for.
The scale of damage is the worst since Hong Kong was returned to China in 1997.
People gathered near the site from early Wednesday to remember the victims.
Seven of the eight high-rise buildings in the complex were engulfed in flames.
Residents of the skyscraper that did not catch fire were allowed to go back during the morning hours to retrieve their belongings.
Local authorities believe the fire spread quickly across the protective netting that did not meet fireproof standards, and the highly flammable styrene foam, both of which were being used for renovation work.
There are also growing calls for the Hong Kong government to be held accountable for its perceived oversight of safety controls, and possible illegalities linked to the renovation project.
The government has said it would set up an independent panel led by a judge to investigate the cause of the blaze and to verify safety standards and how the project was supervised.
More than 2,000 residents of the complex who have been displaced are now living in hotels and other facilities.
