An NGO has released footage believed to be taken from inside a scam center, saying it reveals the plight of those forced to work at the facilities. The NGO says the footage was shot on Saturday at a scam center in Myanmar. It shows more than a dozen people packed in a small room with bunk beds. A man from Cameroon in the video says that there were many Africans trapped in the office. He also said they were forced to work about 17 hours every day. He said they were tortured with electric shocks, and that one person was beaten almost to death.
