North Korea has denounced the United States for deploying B-1B strategic bombers to a US base in Aomori Prefecture, northern Japan.
        
                    
                  
The US Indo-Pacific Command said US Air Force B-1B Lancer aircraft and airmen had arrived at Misawa Air Base on April 15 to support the US forces&#039; efforts, including training with allies and partners.
        
                    
                  
In an article on Friday, the North&#039;s state-run Korean Central News Agency claimed that the stationing of the US bombers could become a long-term deployment in Japan.
