Japanese skier Horishima Ikuma has won his third World Cup title of the season in the men's dual moguls in Italy.
Twenty-five-year-old Horishima, who won a bronze medal at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, pulled off the victory on the 10th round of the world's freestyle skiing event held on Saturday.
Dual moguls are done side-by-side by two competitors in a knock-out format.
In the final, Horishima competed against Mikael Kingsbury, a 2018 PyeongChang Games gold medalist, who reached the goal line first by a narrow margin. But Horishima earned a higher score with his steady turning skills. The win was the 14th victory in his career.
The sport will be included in the program of the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games.
In the women's dual moguls, 18-year-old Kawamura Anri finished third. She has earned three World Cup wins this season.
