North Korea says a Chinese delegation led by Vice Premier Liu Guozhong will take part in the upcoming celebrations to mark the country&#039;s 75th anniversary.
                
The visit was reported in Thursday&#039;s edition of North Korea&#039;s ruling Workers&#039; Party newspaper Rodong Sinmun.
                
North Korea celebrates its founding day on September 9.
The Chinese delegation is expected to watch a military parade on Saturday.
                
China sent a delegation to Pyongyang in July for the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice. It was headed by Li Hongzhong, vice chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People&#039;s Congress.
                
A Russian delegation led by Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu also attended the same event.
                
Diplomatic sources say Russia is expected to send a delegation to Saturday&#039;s parade as well.
                
North Korea is apparently aiming to showcase its unity with China and Russia to counter the United States&#039; alliance with Japan and South Korea.
