The four-day convention kicked off with the party adopting its policy platform that advocates for economic growth by supporting the lower and middle classes.
                
The platform also emphasizes the party&#039;s support for legal abortion rights, especially in light of recent measures to restrict the procedure in states led primarily by Republican governors.
                
At the end of the convention, President Joe Biden reiterated his support for Harris.
