Landslide in northeastern Japan engulfs more than ten structures NHK

A landslide has occurred in Japan's northeastern city of Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture. Police say more than ten structures have been buried, including houses.

Police say they received a report of a collapsed slope at around 1 a.m. on Saturday. At that time, they said the site was too dark to determine the extent of the collapse.
