1. Japanese astronaut Yui Kimiya successfully captured Japan's new unmanned cargo transfer spacecraft, HTV-X, using a robotic arm at the International Space Station (ISS) on October 30, 2025. 2. The H3 rocket launched from Tanegashima Space Center carried the HTV-X to the ISS where it docked at an altitude of about 400 kilometers. This is not Yui's first time grappling a cargo transporter at the ISS, as he previously captured Kounotori in 2015. 3. The HTV-X will be connected to the ISS, delivering equipment for experiments and food supplies into the station. Yui expressed hope that this successful mission would showcase Japan's contributions to international space development and make the Japanese people proud.
