B: Nah, what's up with them?

A: Well, Apple went against the grain and made the iPhone 17 Pro lineup slightly thicker to fit a bigger battery. They added a unibody build with aluminum and a camera bump design on the back. It's heavier than before but it has an upgraded display with better brightness and anti-reflective coating.

B: Oh, cool! Did they make any changes to the camera?

A: Yeah, all three rear cameras now have a 48-megapixel sensor. The telephoto lens got an upgrade too. Unfortunately, it still doesn't have AI-enhanced digital zoom like some other phones do.

B: That's not bad at all! But what about the battery life?

A: They managed to cram more battery into the iPhone 17 Pro Max. I got over five hours of screen time with it, even though I switch between my ultra-light iPhone Air and the new phone. It also supports faster charging and wireless charging at 25W.

B: Sounds like a solid upgrade! Anything else?

A: Not much, they didn't talk too much about Apple Intelligence or new AI features. But creators will appreciate the improved thermal performance for longer video shoots, and there are some new features for them like ProRes RAW and genlock. If your phone is more than two years old, you'll see a big improvement in battery life, performance, screen, and camera.
