The Washington Post reported on Thursday that Pelosi told several House Democrats that she thinks Biden is getting close to deciding to abandon his reelection bid. The paper says calls have been growing for Biden to step down, since he gave a halting performance during a debate last month.

An official from the Biden camp told reporters on Thursday that the president will continue his reelection bid. But the Washington Post said, "Biden appears more politically isolated than ever."
