A Russian state-run news agency says North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Saturday inspected an airport on the outskirts of Vladivostok in Russia&#039;s Far East.
                
The report said that Russian defense minister Sergei Shoigu explained to Kim about Kinzhal missiles, which Russia says are hypersonic and can be mounted on fighter jets.
                
Russia&#039;s state-run television aired footage of Kim viewing military planes at the airport. The aircraft reportedly included Tupolev-95 long-range strategic bombers and Sukhoi-34 fighter jets.
                
Russia&#039;s defense ministry said Kim later inspected the Russian Navy&#039;s Pacific Fleet in Vladivostok.
                
Aboard a frigate, Shoigu and a navy commander reportedly briefed Kim about weapons mounted on the vessel including a Kalibr cruise missile.
                
The North Korean leader is continuing his tour in the Far East after talks with President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday at a spaceport in the region.
