A group of people who has said they were sexually abused by the late founder of Johnny & Associates released a written request calling for another news conference to be held by the talent agency.

Johnny & Associates held a news conference on October 2 to explain its response to sexual abuse by its late founder, Johnny Kitagawa. Representatives of nearly 300 media attended.

It was revealed that a consulting firm that managed the news conference had prepared a list that included the names and photos of reporters who would not be given an opportunity to ask questions.

Regarding this matter, the group released a written request to the agency on its website on Sunday.

The statement says that there are many things that can be learned from questions about the contents and scope of relief and compensation for victims.

It says that a fresh news conference is absolutely necessary, and that sufficient question-and-answer sessions should be held.

It also calls for holding consulting firms responsible for making such lists. The statement demands to set more time for holding news conferences and eliminating restrictions on each company's questions.

The group plans to make an official request to the Johnny & Associates in the near future.
