Morocco beats Belgium 2-0 for another World Cup upset NHK

Morocco produced another surprise by beating Belgium 2-0 at the men's FIFA World Cup group match on Sunday at Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar.

Morocco's substitute Romain Saiss broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute by scoring off a free-kick by Abdelhamid Sabri.
Another substitute Zakaria Aboukhal netted a ball from a cutback in stoppage time.

Morocco's win in the World Cup is the first since 1998 when the north African team beat Scotland.

Belgium finished third at the 2018 World Cup and is currently ranked as the world's number 2. It will face 2018 runner-up Croatia in the final group match on Thursday, for a spot in the round of 16.
Morocco will play against Canada.
