Heavy snow has forced the suspension of Yamagata Shinkansen operations in both directions between Fukushima Station and Shinjo Station in Yamagata Prefecture all day on Sunday. The Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train has been operating at a lower speed than usual in some sections between Nagoya Station and Shin-Osaka Station starting with the first train of the day.
