Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned that Ukraine must accept Russia&#039;s proposals or its army will deal with the territorial issue, suggesting that his country will continue its invasion until Ukraine surrenders.
                
Lavrov made the remark in an interview with the state-run Tass news agency, released on Tuesday.
                
He said the United States and its NATO allies are pursuing &quot;victory over Russia on the battlefield&quot; in Ukraine &quot;as a mechanism for significantly weakening or even destroying the Russian Federation.&quot;
                
Lavrov said, &quot;The enemy is well aware of our proposals on the demilitarization and denazification&quot; of the Ukrainian controlled territories, and the elimination of threats to the security of Russia as well as four regions in Ukraine&#039;s east, which he called &quot;our new territories.&quot;
                
Lavrov said, &quot;There is a little left to do -- to accept these proposals in an amicable way. Otherwise, the Russian Army will deal with this issue.&quot;
                
The Institute for the Study of War, a US think tank, published an assessment of Lavrov&#039;s remark saying the Kremlin will continue to pursue a military solution to the war until Ukraine capitulates to Russia&#039;s demands.
                
The institute also says Russian demands for &quot;demilitarization&quot; aim to eliminate Ukraine&#039;s ability to resist further Russian attacks, while the demands for &quot;denazification&quot; are tantamount to calls for regime change in Ukraine.
                
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed a 10-point peace plan that includes Russia&#039;s withdrawal from all Ukrainian territory.
