US President Donald Trump is set to discuss a ceasefire deal in Ukraine with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a conference call starting on Tuesday morning, Eastern time.
        
                    
                  
The phone talks would be their first since they agreed to start negotiations to end the conflict in Ukraine on February 12.
        
                    
                  
Trump is expected to urge Putin to accept the US-proposed 30-day ceasefire, which Ukraine has already agreed to.
