But Axios quoted US officials as admitting that &quot;aid airdrops will have a limited effect since a military plane can only drop the amount of supplies equivalent to that transported by one or two trucks.&quot; They noted that the top priority is to increase relief delivery by land.
                
Mediators including Qatar continue talks for a ceasefire, as they work toward a truce and possible release of hostages. But no deal has been reached yet, and the outlook for negotiations remains uncertain.
