The Internal Affairs Ministry said the attack hit a village near the city of Kupiansk on Thursday.

Internal Affairs Minister Ihor Klymenko told the media that a shop and a cafe had been struck as many people gathered there for a memorial service.

The office added that the Kupiansk-Lyman line was "one of the hottest on the frontline," where Russian forces were constantly trying to carry out offensive actions.
