Zelenskyy: Russian attack kills at least 48 in Kharkiv NHK

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says a Russian attack on the eastern region of Kharkiv has left at least 48 people dead.

Zelenskyy said in a social media post on Thursday that the assault damaged a civilian facility in the city of Kupiansk. He condemned Russia for its continued military aggression.

The head of Ukraine's presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said on social media a 6-year-old boy was among the dead.

He also said 6 people were injured, including a child.
