Iran's president condemns Israeli attacks during speech at UN General Assembly NHK

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called on the international community to immediately stop Israel from carrying out air strikes in Lebanon.

Pezeshkian also said in his speech that Iran is ready to work with the relevant countries to revive a 2015 deal, which was aimed at curbing Tehran's nuclear activities.

Pezeshkian has been calling for dialogues with the United States and European countries. Observers say the aim of his remarks was to show that Iran can be accommodating, when it comes to foreign policy.
