In a speech to a crowd of supporters in Florida on Wednesday, Trump pointed to the Biden administration's decision to loosen sanctions against Iran, a Hamas supporter.

Trump said, "Under my leadership, the United States will fully support Israel, defeating, dismantling and permanently destroying the terrorist group Hamas."

US media have extensively covered the Israeli-Palestinian hostilities. Trump apparently intends to capitalize on his criticism of the Biden administration to boost his support, particularly with pro-Israel lobbying groups in mind.
