A Telescope Catches Something Strange Near the Moon
Cassandra Yorgey
There is a lot of strange stuff going on up in the sky these days, from Chinese spy balloons to alleged alien aircrafts or the ever popular government claim of weather balloons, and it has more people turning to home telescopes to see for themselves. One such hobby astronomer caught a rare sight with his camera through the lens and some believe it shows a glitch in the matrix.
Is this a mysterious object passing through the moon? No, probably not. Rather than passing through the moon, this is probably a meteor burning up as it passes in front of the moon. The object seems to change from light to a dark speck as it travels in front of the brighter light source, in this case the moon, which would be consistent with a large meteor. If you happen to spot one, it couldn’t hurt to make a wish!
It could potentially be caused by an insect flying in front of the telescope lens or even a CGI enhancement, but it’s most likely just something burning up in the atmosphere. That doesn’t technically rule out the possibility of it being a UFO, though, as a spaceship crash could also burn up in the atmosphere.
A glitch in the matrix may not be the best explanation for this video, but it still might be the only way to explain why so many people remember Britney Spears as wearing a plaid skirt in her music video.
