The head of Ukraine's presidential office, Andriy Yermak, announced through social media on Wednesday that preparation is underway for the meeting of national security advisers.

He said officials will discuss Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's 10-point Peace Formula. The proposal includes the withdrawal of Russian troops.

Yermak says a just peace must be established based on the UN Charter and on Ukraine's terms.

Diplomatic sources say the talks will be held in Saudi Arabia's western city of Jeddah on Saturday and Sunday.

The meeting will be the second of its kind following similar talks in Denmark in June.

Security officials from the G7, as well as emerging and developing nations collectively called the Global South, including India, Brazil and Turkey, attended the first meeting.

Yermak says Ukrainian officials are also in contact with ambassadors stationed in Ukraine. He says his country ultimately aims to launch a summit with world leaders to implement its peace proposal.
