A: Hey John, did you catch the news today?
   B: Nope, what's up?

A: Russia's military jets apparently violated Estonia's airspace! Can you believe it?
   B: Whoa, that's serious! What happened exactly?

A: Well, three Mig-31 fighters flew over the Gulf of Finland for 12 minutes. The Estonian military called Italian jets to intercept.
   B: Wow, that must have been tense! What did the foreign minister say about it?

A: He said this is the fourth violation this year and warned that it needs to be met with political and economic pressure.
   B: That sounds like a strong response... I've heard other countries reporting similar incursions too, right?

A: Yeah, Poland and Romania both said Russian drones violated their airspace earlier this month. NATO is taking steps to strengthen its defenses on the eastern flank.
   B: That's really concerning... EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas called it an "extremely dangerous provocation."

A: She's right, and the EU leaders have announced new sanctions against Russia. They want to ban Russian liquefied natural gas imports by 2026 and target additional ships in their "shadow fleet."
   B: That's a big step! I wonder if Trump will support this move?

A: As a matter of fact, he previously called on the Europeans to cut off energy ties with Moscow.
   B: Looks like it might finally happen then... Let's hope for peace, John.
